We are delighted to join in with two special events as part of the 32nd Orkney International Science Festival.

We will be one of the many stalls at the Family Fun day returning to Kirkwall Grammer School on Saturday 3 September from 10am to 4pm.

No need to book, just turn up when you like and find out more about our work protecting Orkney's native wildlife. Ask us anything about eradication, biosecurity, monitoring and conservation!

There are plenty of other interesting things to see and do on the day too including a travelling planetarium from Dynamic Earth, and activities from Glasgow Science Centre, the Scottish Dolphin Centre, and the Scottish Seabird Centre.

We will be hosting another family friendly day as part of the Orkney International Science Festival at the RIng of Brodgar on Sunday 4 September from 10am to 3pm.

As well as exploring the beautiful Brodgar site looking for our native Orkney vole, you can really find out what it means to be a vole detective, make nature journals, as well us and find out more about who we are and what we are doing.

This family-friendly open day is your opportunity to experience hands-on conservation and wildlife management.
